Children's Fashion Cologne: Around 200 brands have already confirmed participation

The prospects for the second edition of the Children's Fashion Cologne are excellent: Already seven weeks before the event kicks off around 200 labels from 13 countries have confirmed their participation at the trade fair, which opens its doors at the Koelnmesse from 30 January to 1 February 2014. The fair is also experiencing growth in terms of the exhibition space occupied: For the first time the trade fair will exceed the 10,000 square metre mark. So far, among others international top labels such as Replay & Sons, Pepe Jeans London, Kids Fashion Group, Gas Junior, Giesswein, LTB Kids, Marc O'Polo Junior, Mexx, NOA NOA minature, Cakewalk, Sanetta, Jottum, Antony Morato, Attesa Maternity, Tumble 'N Dry and XS-EXES have booked space. The Children's Fashion Cologne sees itself as the central business and order platform of the German and international industry and comprehensively covers the baby, children's and maternity fashion, shoe, interior design and accessories sectors. As was the case at the premiere event, the Children's Fashion Cologne 2014 will also excel as a result of its high level of internationality and its specialised supporting programme.

In addition to the trade fair offerings, the event is rounded off by in-depth specialised lectures with subsequent discussions panels in the scope of the CFC Forum. After the resounding success at the debut event, the "Pimp my Shop" campaign, which targets small and medium-sized distributors, will once again be staged during the Children's Fashion Cologne. This campaign offers registered specialised dealers the opportunity to hold dialogues with industry experts from the shop design and sales promotion sectors, allowing a professional analysis of their own store concept. The new website will be going online on 13 December in the languages German, English and Dutch. What would a fashion trade fair be without fashion shows? The Luna Fashion Shows will turn the CFC catwalk into a crowd-puller again on each of the three exhibition days, when international designers will present their collections featuring new cuts, colours and samples. The Luna Kids Casting, which was held at the Koelnmesse on Saturday, offered a small foretaste of what is in store. More than 120 girls and boy aged between three and nine showed their skills as aspiring young models in front of a panel of expert judges. Around half of the children will be presenting designer fashion trends on the catwalk throughout the duration of the trade fair.
